Drawing is a way to be connected with life, with time; to immerse oneself in layers.
I note what I see, and I mirror an inner world related to the cosmos.
Concrete figurative shapes and figures and natural elements are also conduits of energy that we cannot see or pin down in concrete terms.
Drawing is a way of reviving what seems to have been lost: memories, history.
My drawings have a narrative and spiritual character.
They take you into the loop of natural cycles, they question death and refer to origin.
They always arise in a certain period of time, based on a specific research and place.
In my presentations they appear in different combinations and contexts that perfectly match the subject.
I work from archival material that is piled up in my house and studio and the flow of the air in my workspace.
